Role Activities and Responsibilities

The client is looking for a Vice President of Sales to oversee our topline bookings growth for our European market, specifically UK/Nordics & France/Benelux with room for expansion. Reporting directly to the EVP of Global Sales, the VP of EMEA will be responsible for leading the daily execution of the sales plan focused on account growth and new business acquisition in our core verticals. The VP of sales will be a critical member of the revenue leadership team, collaborating to create the positioning and strategy to increase our sales channels and revenue.

The ideal candidate is a tenured enterprise sales leader with experience leading complex sales organizations. They have the proven ability to grow bookings year over year and manage a sales team with a dynamic and constantly evolving product. They possess an entrepreneurial mindset, backed by data-driven decision making, that results in measurable growth. They have shown the ability to drive sales rep productivity, increase market coverage and create coaching programs that evolve our quota carriers into top performers.

  • Consistently achieve top-line growth numbers making sure the revenue is operationally efficient and predictable long term
  • Day to day management and leadership of EMEA account executives sales process and activities to achieve bookings targets
  • Optimize the outbound prospecting approach and focus account executives on generating new business
  • Drive sales recruitment to attract top talent, maintain competitive atmosphere and job satisfaction for top performers
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs to help sales executives achieve personal growth goals and sales targets
  • Provide accurate and detailed sales forecasting
  • Collaborate with EMEA Customer Success lead to strategically handoff and grow existing accounts
  • Partner closely with our VP of Revenue Operations to ensure our systems, processes and technologies support our sales teams needs and increase their productivity. Use data provided from this partnership to make strategic sales growth decisions
  • Keep up to date with industry and technological changes that impact the business.


Essential skills and experience

  • 10+ yrs of sales and sales management experience
  • Proven ability to work in a fast pace environment and execute against hard deadlines
  • Firm grasp of multiple sales processes including Sandler, Challenger and Gap Selling
  • Expert in motivating people and helping implement compensation plans and organizational strategies in a way that is motivating to the employees
  • Highly analytical and proficient in deriving conclusions from various data sets and simplifying outputs to position ‘now what’ conclusions
  • Adept at documenting and simplifying complex processes and driving implementation across global organizations
  • Proven experience creating a coaching culture and have a track record of elevating C and B players to top performers
  • Extremely organized, punctual and self-starting; Must be able to work at a fast pace and be agile in execution
  • Knowledgeable in end-to-end revenue processes and best practices across inbound, sales qualification, account activation, training in a SaaS based onboarding environment and demand generation
  • Must have a background in a fast growth business, ideally with previous experience in managing a quota or a P&L
  • Must think about the world from a customer and employee’s perspective and be able to translate management needs into benefits for both groups
  • In field sales experience plus relevant marketing/tech
  • Bachelor + degree preferably in business
