The Role:
 

We are looking for an experienced VP Product who is passionate about building products that help our customers be successful. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and a company set out on a journey to change the Market Research Industry.  

The Insight industry is in an exciting phase with massive opportunities and we’re looking for a VP Product ready to explore and discover new ways to help our customers being successful. The role is key in supporting the client's vision to be the Technology Backbone of the industry with a wide portfolio of products and a focus on advanced algorithms.  

Role Purpose and Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage your team of product managers and product owners, working to ensure and develop company values and facilitate the individual’s personal and professional development. 
  • Set the long-term vision and strategy for your products together with your team of Product Managers and Owners.
  • Develops and continuously communicates the product vision/roadmap with 2 years perspective while managing agile deliverables on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with the Product teams to quickly identify and deliver value to the market with a long-term goal in mind.
  • Understand the customer needs and translate them into problem-solving and market-leading products in a multi-tenant platform.
  • Being the glue between Commercial and Development to comfortably discuss technical implementations with the team as well as explaining how your product will really make a difference to the customers.
  • Think a couple of steps ahead, where will our customers be in 3 years and how can we support them in that journey.
  • Make sure there is a good balance between product features and technical improvements.
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding across the business community, helping to build a truly product lead organization.
  • Build a product management culture that with great judgment balances product intuition, design inspiration, market insight, and data validation for creating delightful experiences.

Role Requirements: 

  • Extensive experience in Market Research and/or 5+ years experience in Product Management. 
  • Experience within the Market research industry is highly desired and advantageous
  • At least 3-5 years experience of leading other product managers/owners, working in global environments.
  • Experience working in and implementing agile and lean development practices.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing a product portfolio successfully (user growth and commercial).
  • Ability to envision and deliver the future.
  • Experience leading and growing a product organization covering a multitude of use cases and various platforms, preferably in the Market Research space.
  • An impressive intuition and perspective on how to develop product offerings for a global market.
  • Aptitude for listening and problem-solving in a data-driven way, analyzing cross-functional and global needs, and determining best-fit solutions.
  • Must have strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Team player who can work with Product Managers and product owners to constantly improve how we as a team work to deliver better products. 
  • Ability to influence and guide a cross-cultural and cross-continental team.
  • Strong coaching/  feedback skills or values. Great communicator: 1 on 1, group, or email.
  • Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Curiosity and a superior capacity of understanding multiple new concepts and procedures quickly.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while staying on top of priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Travel Requirement; Since the team and customers are globally spread there will be some travel periodically to meet with the team, internal stakeholders and communicate with clients and the industry.
