Senior Survey Programmer
This position is responsible for managing the programming of surveys using the Decipher programming platform to ensure accurate and timely work which drives company growth and profitability. The Director will be working in a fast paced and demanding environment and will report directly executive leadership. This role will also manage and mentor the survey programming
team and support the training and development of Full-Service Client Solutions Managers.

  • Organize and set up projects to be programmed according to client specifications and timelines to ensure proper scheduling.
  • Get all questionnaires programmed in accordance with client specifications for error free work conducted profitably.
  • Mentor and assist in training existing staff on the Decipher programming platform.
  • Schedule programming-based QA testing of the program and all deliverables to ensure client satisfaction, quality standards and error-free projects.
  • Follow all data quality procedures to ensure the data gathered from system has no errors or deficiency.
  • Develop and actively manage a vendor outsourcing model that incorporates the client's QA processes and meets the financial goals of projects.
  • Create and manage quality processes around Data Processing services (Coding, tabulations, charting, etc.) as well as other related support services (Translations, etc.)
  • Send daily updates and status reports to internal stakeholders for all projects.
  • Utilize creative thinking and problem-solving skills to assure completion of jobs and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain proactive ongoing communication with the internal stakeholders on a project-by-project basis.
  • Proactively identify and solve project related problems to ensure accurate and timely delivery of data.
  • Actively pursue knowledge of the survey research industry and other relevant software packages.
  • Act as liaison with sales team to provide insight on areas of possible growth and development for clients.
  • Develop programming standards, script libraries and processes and procedure that aid in overall survey tech efficiency gains and process improvement.
  • Assist with labor modeling, level-loading of programming production and resource allocation.
  • Create and manage costs, quality and satisfaction of technical services vendors.
  • Serve as technical internal subject matter expert for design of company case studies, development sprints or other special projects.
  • Any other tasks and projects as assigned by executive management. 

Qualifications:
  • 6 years within the custom Market Research industry or related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Sciences, Computer Sciences, Research, Marketing, Engineering, Business, Communication, or other relevant fields.
  • Understanding of quantitative research methodologies.
  • Mathematically inclined. Good numerical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of complex tasks.
  • Methodical and well organized with long-term planning abilities.
  • Good time management skills.
  • The ability to take responsibility and handle pressure.
  • Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines.
  • Commercial awareness, intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn.
  • Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication.
  • Confidence when dealing with a wide variety of people.
