As a Senior Sales Executiveyou’ll be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle of new business opportunities for both social measurement and sentiment/topical analysis for surveys. You’ll focus on relationship-building in market research and media & entertainment, along with proactive support activities in pre-sales development and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is equal parts creative, digitally savvy, and analytical. You are comfortable owning your entire sales cycle, from prospecting all the way to closing. You have an innate understanding of technology and have a history of success interacting with high-profile stakeholders in the media/entertainment and market research spaces.

This is a full-time position based in our NYC office and reports directly to the COO, working closely with Customer Success, Product, and Client Services.  LA-based candidates will also be considered.


What You’ll Do

  • Own the entire sales process from lead generation and prospecting, to negotiation and closing.
  • Be an expert in the dashboard in order to effectively engage in consultative selling with prospects, serving as your own "Solutions Consultant."
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Client Services, and Product Development to effectively execute prospect software trials.
  • Understand customer business goals and technical environment, including software used by the prospect.
  • Serve as an extension of a transparent product + data science methodology by building fruitful, honest relationships with prospects.
  • Use your “can do” attitude and take creative, strategic risks to help build the client base.

  • At least 6 - 7 years of full-cycle, end-to-end SaaS sales in quant/qual data, sentiment and topical analysis, or social measurement/listening.
  • A background in surveys products and/or social listening tools. 
  • Proven track record of enterprise deal closures and exceeding assigned quotas. 
  • Proactive networker unafraid to utilize multiple outbound sales tactics. 
  • Highly personable and outgoing with a knack for building relationships.
  • Familiar with data analysis, market research, and media & entertainment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate efficiently with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Customer-oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Not intimidated by numbers.
  • Ability to deliver results under pressure, work independently, and take ownership.
