Sales Director
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute a business development plan targeted to new clients that would benefit from the client's adaptive consumer insights platform
- Accountable for opening and closing new business: driving all aspects of prospecting, pitching, proposing, and closing both trials and ongoing partnership
- Ability to customize the selling message to align with the current needs of the potential customer and the progress that the customer is looking to make
- Maintain ongoing tracking of prospecting activities and tasks, pipeline accuracy, and contact information in the CRM system
- Proactively navigate new vendor setup processes, working with various client functions (e.g. procurement) to negotiate favorable terms
QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum of 7-10 years experience in B2B sales, with a consistent track record of exceeding goals
- Must have specific experience selling to mid-to-senior levels within an organization
- Brings a strong understanding of the consumer-packaged-goods (CPG) industry
- Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture client relationships and find new stakeholders
- Impressive presenter, effective in virtual presentations as well as in-person
- Persistent, determined, and demonstrates initiative
- Comfortable working in a start-up environment with a true self-starter mentality
- Enjoys brainstorming with team members to overcome any deal challenges
