The Research Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing market research studies.  This includes project scheduling and execution; questionnaire preparation and assistance with project design; reporting and analysis; client management; and serving as a liaison with internal and external operations teams.

We are looking for someone to:

Take ownership of all project tasks—client consultation, questionnaire design, fieldwork coordination, and interpretation of the data through reporting and analysis, to deliver objective and in-depth understanding of consumers
Serve as day-to-day internal and external contact on various end client full-service projects
Prepare data tabulation and banner specifications
Produce written research reports with actionable, data-driven insights
Participate in the framing of business questions, identification of information needs, and development of the research plan
Safeguard the accuracy, thoroughness, quality, and timeliness of projects
Ensure that all internal team members understand the projects’ expected outcomes, and monitor the progress of each project at each stage to ensure successful completion
Serve as a liaison with internal and external operations teams. 
Assist in managing project costs to ensure that projects are delivered at or above expected profit levels, and notifies senior staff when issues arise

You bring these skills with you:

BA/BS
5-7 years of experience within the Market Research industry
Passion for marketing research and technology to support 
Strong listening, oral, and written communication skills – Able to understand, interpret, clarify and confirm the requests and needs of others
Ability to balance overall project goals with a multitude of logistics requirements and key milestones
Proven ability to execute quantitative research studies (writing and editing questionnaires, analyzing data, interpreting results, and offering guidance and advice based on those results)
Experience managing client relationships and navigating through challenges
Ability to balance project goals with a multitude of logistics requirements and key milestones
Strong oral and written communication skills – Able to understand, interpret, clarify and confirm the requests and needs of others
Keen attention to detail and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Highly analytical with exceptional critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, both in-person and remotely
Proficient in MS Office, with a focus on PowerPoint, Excel, and the development of charts/tables
Experience with advanced quantitative methodologies (e.g. MaxDiff, conjoint analysis) is preferred
SPSS or similar data manipulation software experience a plus
