Marketing Director
Purpose of the Position
We are searching for a Marketing Director who can successfully showcase our groundbreaking consumer and B2B panels to an array of audiences including market research companies, consultancies, enterprise accounts, and brand/corporate communications agencies. This candidate will have a deep knowledge of B2B marketing and be responsible for many of the strategic and tactical marketing functions of the business. The candidate will drive an outside-in process to understand customer needs, market research trends, identify and assess significant growth opportunities, and create/implement strategies that deliver increased and profitable market share. The position requires a hands-on, can-do attitude.
Candidates should have previous experience producing highly effective integrated B2B marketing programs, including developing timely promotions and campaigns, creating compelling supporting materials and partnering with management to drive results. Candidates should be accustomed to working in an entrepreneurial company.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase awareness among buyers of consumer and B2B panels used for surveying and data collection.
- Develop marketing programs to ensure the company is highly visible and well-positioned.
- Create and deploy tactics to engage audiences which include market research companies and agencies and brand/corporate communications agencies.
- Content strategy; manage the production and publication of a wide range of marketing collateral including press releases, webinars, outbound and inbound emails, blog/thought leadership, case study content via carefully crafted campaigns and ensure consistent branding for all campaign and content pieces.
- Responsible for tradeshow and event execution/strategy including content creation, thought leadership/speaking, logistics, and invitation of top clients/prospects, all with an eye on messaging, lead generation and ROI achievement.
- Develop annual budget and roadmap of marketing activities.
- Make decisions based on key performance metrics and analytics.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- A. degree in marketing or related fields
- A minimum of eight years of B2B marketing experience.
- Intermediate marketing research landscape knowledge
- Digital marketing experience; well-versed in using SEO, SEM, Web content/development and social marketing strategies to attract new clients and further engage existing clients.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic, creative thinker
- Must be detail-oriented, flexible and resourceful.
- Must adhere to the highest level of customer satisfaction standards in the industry.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
