Head of Sales

The client is developing and delivering the most advanced and scalable Consumer Neuroscience data platform in the market research world. Relying on our own research-grade proprietary sensors for biometrics data collection, and mixing it up with elegant survey and behavioral tasks tools, we are able to profile the emotional timeline and impact of any video, giving our clients actionable data on the engagement potential of their content.

We have been able to do this due to a stellar tech and research team, bringing the solution to the market and making ourselves known. We now need someone to take over, structure and direct the sales process, working with the management team to create, expand and grow the business.

We are looking for someone with the drive and experience to take us on to the next step!

 

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Owning and generation of the whole Sales pipeline, for new and existing clients
  • Planning and definition of our Go-to-Market strategy, with full autonomy
  • Working with the management on the update of the company’s strategy and helping guide the product development to suit the market’s needs
  • Selling to video content producers in the TV and entertainment space
  • Selling to brands, advertisement and research agencies
  • Reporting of real vs. budgeted sales, with emphasis on accurate forecasting
  • Being the key point of contact with accounts and maintaining regular communication with the client base

 

Qualifications:

  • We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5-7 years working on sales within the market research and insights industry, with a focus on the European and US market
  • Experience engaging key entertainment and broadcasting stakeholders
  • Experience engaging key brand marketing and advertisement stakeholders
  • Proven track-record of exceeding individual and company sales quotas at a company selling technology and/or services within the market research space
  • Documented history of growing and scaling sales and marketing teams: designing the function, recruiting, hiring and managing them
  • Experience in fast-moving, scaling environments and the drive to deal with a product and research focused startup
  • Experience developing and managing a customer-relationship management strategy
  • A passion for science, data and behavior
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency using MS Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, and the ability to work with a design team
