Director, Strategic Accounts

The client is a technology-driven consultancy inspired by real-life human experiences and behaviors. We’ve built a Video-As-Data mission where we transform unstructured consumer video into rich data and insights for leading brands using our video intelligence engine. Our story, however, did not start there. We were founded out of a desire to put people back at the center of research and really be able to hear their stories and have a conversation about what mattered in their lives.

That passion to understand real consumer behavior and experiences still persists. We believe that true authentic human understanding is observed & experienced rather than reported. Thus, we developed a video technology system and capture methodologies that deliver new forms of consumer insights to clients. Through the power of video-led research combined with our technology & consulting expertise, brands gain a deeper, more authentic understanding of their customers.

We are expanding our US team and looking for a self-driven, energetic, and passionate person to join our team to support our next stage of growth. As a Director of Strategic Accounts, this role will be fundamental in identifying new buyers of our technology & consulting services among FMCG, Food/Bev, & Technology clients

Desired experience & skills include…
7+ years of market research experience & 5+ years of business development experience with Brand clients
Proven track record for identifying, building, and leading strategic business relationships
A clear understanding of the Insights industry and how to engage clients with a strong knowledge of research design and execution
Genuine desire to help organizations address business needs with new and innovative approaches
Proven ability to work collaboratively across an organization to solve client needs and business questions
Ability to navigate client organizations, their purchase journey, and overcome any challenges.
Highly Energetic, organized, and driven
Experience in using social platforms to develop brand awareness and client relationships
A team player with an interest in developing talent and creating a positive company culture

As a Director of Strategic Accounts, your responsibilities will include…
Build and execute business development strategies among new buyers
Develop partnerships with clients to maximize the ongoing value of our technology, services, and programs
Maintain a relentless focus on meeting or exceeding quarterly revenue goals
Create visually engaging proposals that capture the needs of the client and articulate how we are uniquely positioned to meet those needs
Understand the client’s general business needs and pain points to create and influence strategic solutions utilizing our technology and services
Set up delivery teams for success by clearly communicating research objectives and requirements in order to deliver fantastic work
Provide regular updates to Sr. Management and Leadership teams
Record and track key client metrics; monitoring client health
Spread the word of our capabilities at client meetings, networking events, conferences, and via social media
