Overview of Enterprise Solutions:  Enterprise Solutions aims to help marketing and media executives make better business decisions by using the latest technologies for collecting exceptional customer/consumer data.  Our key target clients are companies that extensively use online market research and are interested in using various software solutions to gain deeper insights into consumer attitudes, behaviors and opinions.

 

Major Purpose of the Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the sale of Enterprise Solutions products and services to new, existing and inactive clients, mainly corporations, not-for-profits and other buyers and users of market research services. This sales professional will manage all aspects of daily activities/relationship for a specific offset of designated accounts.  The focus of this position will be in winning new clients and delivering growth among emerging clients within a set of existing accounts. There will be heavy phone selling in this role.  In addition, the candidate will be using SalesForce.com extensively.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing relationships and closing business from a combination of corporate, not-for-profit and business clients within various industry sectors, as well as expanding business from the individual’s existing client base. The first year business development goal will fall between $1,500,000 and $2,500,000 based on candidate’s experience and industry background. (The average size contract within Enterprise Solutions is $45,000 per project).
  • Responsible for all aspects of account sales planning, including working with internal project managers in managing technical discussions and sales of company services and products to clients. This is a SaaS solution that will be customized to meet specific client needs.
  • Must have strong “consultative” skills and be well versed in and have a clear understanding of current and future trends and methodologies.
  • Uncover new business opportunities within client base. This includes managing various relationships within one account and coordinating internal resources to best service the client needs.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships by conducting regular proactive contact campaigns to generate business.
  • Work closely with and clearly translate the client’s business objectives to a project team of internal/international technical experts who will implement a technical solution for the client.
  • Educate potential clients about online marketing research and Toluna.
  • Make sales presentations, writing proposals and providing bids to clients.
  • Assist in the design of appropriate research projects to address the marketing issues raised by clients.
  • Keep a pulse of the progress of projects and follow up with clients in an effort to develop ongoing relationships and repeat business.

 

Minimum Qualifications Requirements:

  • 5 plus years of sales and account management experience with a background in market research a plus
  • Past achievement in new and expanded client business generation
  • Demonstrated ability to actively manage multiple tasks
  • Must be a goal oriented, persuasive, self-motivated and independent worker
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and be efficient in meeting deadlines
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
