About The Client:

The client is a privately held market research execution firm.  A leader in data collection and research execution services and technology, the client is seeking a highly motivated candidate, skilled in online and/or offline (CATI, F2F/onsite) data collection to expand our sales efforts.  You will be working directly with clients and should be someone who knows how to build successful business relationships.

Job Description

Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close.  Works within the sales and operations teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Responsible for the sales of professional online data collection services tailored to the market research industry.
  • Develops annual business plan, with the Sales Leadership team, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year and will focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data collection services and products portfolio.
  • Maximizes all opportunities in the process of successfully closing a sale resulting in the increase of market share.
  • Assists in development and implementation of marketing plans, as needed.
  • Able to gather and submit detailed business information for pricing, and presentation of solutions to identified prospects’ business problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales/prospecting activities (including sales calls, presentations and follow-up activities).

 

Relationships & Roles

  • Maintain contact with all of your clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments, and all team members.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet the company’s core values.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2 or more years experience in sales, in the data collection / MR industry.
  • Proven track record generating new business and renewing/increasing existing business.
  • Ability to match and propose research solutions and products to potential clients with custom needs.
  • Self-motivated, high energy, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about sales and client service.
  • Job is remote or able to be in-office, depending upon location of ideal candidate.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), as well as listening and presentation skills.
  • Periodic North American travel would be required.
