Business Development Director
The client is looking for an ambitious career-minded individual with a proven record of successful sales and account management in the market research industry (U.S. based).
Day-to-day work and resources
In this role, you will spend the bulk of your time on building and managing a sales pipeline with targeted prospects, from identifying them to engaging them via email, phone/social media outlets, making capability presentations, generating RFPs, and writing proposals. You will also contribute to maintaining and growing the revenue base from existing accounts.
You will be expected to contribute to top-of-the-funnel activities outside the company (such as conferences), work within the firm to build a strong knowledge base about our capabilities, and collaborate with colleagues to identify the best prospecting and account expansion approaches.
You will have at your disposal Salesforce as your main CRM platform for managing contacts and outreach campaigns. You will also have access to Tableau reporting and several other robust sales tools to manage efficiencies and build revenue.
You will work closely with the EVP of Sales, who will provide you with direction and support on both strategic and tactical levels and with the COO and CEO with whom you will collaborate on company sales strategy.

This full-time position is open for a remote hire. We currently have a hybrid work model locally.
Compensation and Benefits
This position’s starting salary will be based on experience and qualifications. Sales commissions are available for this position.
