Description

Role & Responsibilities: 1) Information Management architecture • Description and analysis of the business situation of the Organisation in terms of business services and the necessary collaborations between various parties, based on the Organisation’s regulation and Strategy • Definition of the structure of the target Information Management architecture, based on the Strategic Vision on Information Management • Support the Architecture team in the development of the overall target Information Management Architecture 2) Analysis of Case Management • Business needs analysis, including both general purpose and specific Law Enforcement domains • Terminology definition • Analysis of existing solutions • Definition of target information service architecture and high-level implementation roadmap 3) Analysis of search and cross-matching • Business needs analysis, including both general purpose and specific Law Enforcement domains • Terminology definition • Analysis of existing solutions • Definition of target information service architecture and high-level implementation roadmap Qualifications: • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture: professional knowledge in the processes and methods involved in developing an Enterprise Architecture, with specific focus on the role of information. • Knowledge of business modelling • Knowledge of modelling business services. • Knowledge of information standardisation and interoperability and in the development of ontologies. • Knowledge of information models, conceptualisation and visualisation of information architecture models and designs • Knowledge of Enterprise architecture tools, such as Sparx Enterprise Architect • Knowledge of the Archimate modelling standard • Knowledge of information modelling standards, in particular ORM or one of its derivatives • Knowledge of ICT solutions specific to the Law Enforcement and Justice areas • At least 7 years of relevant professional work experience gained in a complex public sector environment, or at least in a highly regulated environment with an articulated governance model • At least 4 years of relevant professional work experience gained in an international, multi-disciplinary environment • At least 7 years of relevant professional work experience in developing business services models, using the DEMO business modelling method • At least 7 years of relevant professional work experience in developing information architectures, covering at least 5 of the following domains: 1. Information and/or intelligence analysis and modeling 2. Information governance 3. Information quality management 4. Case and records management 5. Search and cross-matching 6. Information security and data protection 7. Information service definition and modeling 8. Data integration • Participation in a minimum of 5 projects in the area of identification of information management and usage patterns and of the role of information in executing business tasks, e.g. how the nature and structure of information impacts the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes • Participation in a minimum of 5 projects in the area of identification and modelling of information services • Participation in a minimum of 3 projects that created an implementation roadmap for information services. • Participation in a minimum of 2 projects in the area of Big Data or unstructured data or data sciences • Language: English
