Implementation, configuration, and management (including monitoring) of a HPC platform based on a public cloud (e.g. Amazon) and/or a private infrastructure;
Development of solutions for Big Data management and processing;
Implementation of interoperability among distributed computing platforms and infrastructures –e.g. datacubes, big data analytical infrastructures, etc.
Implementation, configuration, and management of a collaborative environment for workflow application compilation and execution;
Platform documentation.
Use of AGILE methodology and microservices software approach.
Qualifications
Master's degree required , minimum 5 years of studies after secondary school
7-9 years of professional experience in It
Deep knowledge in the following technologies: Cloud Infrastructure and virtual platform configuration, utilizing a public cloud services. In particular, a good knowledge of Amazon cloud technology and its software: AWS (Amazon Web Services), object storage technology Amazon S3 (Amazon Simple Storage Service).
Assistance in the implementation of software engineering solutions for process and platform virtualization based on container technologies and related orchestration –including Docker and Kubernetes.
Good knowledge of Big Data DB technologies -e.g. HBase, Hadoop, etc.;
Knowledge of Restful technology and interfaces and Microservices approach;
Capabilities to write clear and structural technical documents.
Fluency in English Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings.
Specific expertise
Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud infrastructures and virtual platforms.
