Senior Consumer Insights Analyst

The client is a leading provider of real-time digital consumer insights and empowers companies to brainstorm ideas, uncover new business opportunities and answer their questions in real-time. To complete our team and support our growth as a global leader, we are looking for a Senior Consumer Insights Analyst in the Global Digital Marketing department.

The Role:

In this role, you champion our understanding of how to engage and retain the world’s largest social voting community.  Working with the most innovative minds in the industry, you cut through the rhetoric and theory to focus on what matters most (and is most interesting to) people around the world.

Key Objectives:

  • Drive assessment of campaign and incentive program efficacy, identifying changes and trends in consumer behavior.
  • Brainstorm, test, and analyze new measures to grow knowledge from both demographic and behavioral data, and help us know more about our customers than we do today.
  • Champion informed decision and educated risk-taking across the group.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop actionable insights from existing datasets available throughout the company.
  • Run queries on data and perform analysis to support decision-making process.
  • Research information for Digital Marketing.
  • Leverage Google Analytics and similar data sources to analyze and report on site visitor activities and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain dashboard reporting processes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics and consumer insights.
  • Familiarity with advanced statistical analysis and research methodologies, along with common computer programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the “business” of digital direct marketing including digital marketing strategy, digital media, the consumer journey, consumer insights and multi-channel marketing solutions.
  • Experience in digital marketing test design and analysis.
  • Superior communication, presentation and proposal development skills required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and SQL or similar programming and statistical software skills. Experience working with visualization tools such as Tableau is preferred.
  • Must be driven, strategic, highly organized, accountable with a passion for excellence and positively influencing corporate culture.
  • Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Organizational skills and project management experience.
  • Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.
  • Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks as the management team and business require.
  • Team focused – Can Do Attitude.

Education and Experience:

  • Four-year degree in Math, Finance, Statistics or related discipline.
